I Hate Reading

I wanted to touch base on something before I get started on Chapter 2. You see I really hate reading.  I mean it PAINS me to read, especially my own stuff.  I find it as painful as my hemorrhoids flaring up after a night of beer whacking and hot wing eating and that is Painful with a capital P and U. 

That is why I think it is crazy I am trying to be a writer for a living.  I will give you an example:  I wrote a screenplay called “Mascot” about 5 years ago.  It took me six or seven months to complete the first version.  I worked on it periodically, whenever I got a free moment.

Lake 9: Stick’em Up! – The Movie

All right boys and girls, the following blog is dedicated to the first movie I have written. I started this project about eight years ago and after many, many re-writes and script consultations, I am happy to start pitching this sucker around. I am going to share the beginning with you. I hope everyone likes it!

Here is the background on the movie: It is a feature length comedy about a group a guys that are miserable in their current lifestyles. They all have one thing in common; they want to get the freak out of their current situation and into a better one.

How can one accomplish this? By acquiring more money of course.

There group is presented with a can’t miss prospect. One of their crew mates is the best Poker player they have ever seen, hence the name – POKER FACE DAN.
