Tiger’s Back

Tiger Woods announced that he is returning to the golf world at Augusta.  As noted a thousand times over the sports airwaves, The Masters is the most controlled environment in golf. 

The media will not be able to harass him about his recent indiscretions (and they shouldn’t be able to).  Listen, I know this makes for a good story, but he is a golfer, not the Pope or the President.  His personal life is his own.  He shouldn’t have to apologize to anyone but his wife and kids.

What he did was wrong and he knows this.  I am not too worried about it.  He is a big boy.  I just get sad when kids are involved.  They should never have to go through that.  Stuff like this strips away their innocence and that is the charm of children.

The Latest in Golf Attire

The rainy US Open just wrapped up on Monday. I was really pulling for Phil Mickelson, he was obviously the sentimental favorite and for obvious reason.

It was a record fifth time he finished 2^nd at the US Open, I guess that doesn’t make him feel better. When the second place check clears in his bank account, he may feel a little bit okay about it.

Seeing David Duval back in action was pretty cool too. The one thing I really hated about him was those stupid Oakley sunglasses he used to wear. The ones redneck hicks on beaches everywhere were wearing. He looked like an idiot in those things, but everyone did.

I was glad to see him lose those bad boys.
