Pretty crazy little Easter nugget: Donovan McNabb traded to the Washington Redskins.  I am still unsure how I feel about this. 

I do know one feeling – weird.  Why would they trade him within the division?  I have been hearing that Andy Reid was helping McNabb out by not trading him to the Oakland Raiders and that McNabb preferred the Redskins.

Boy, the Eagles really pooped the bed Sunday night, eh?  It was a beautiful sunny day down at the tailgate, people were in a good mood, drinking it up and being merry.  We couldn’t ask for more. 

Then the game started and it all went downhill from there. 

The Eagles offense stunk the joint up.  On any other week, I normally would care, but not care as much, but this was Cowboy’s week.  I really freaking hate the Cowboys with their stupid little stars on their helmets.  Eeeew, look at me I got silver helmet and tight pants?  I play for the Cowboys.  Freaking pussies.

Good Morning boys and girls!  There is no better feeling than a Monday after a horrible Eagles’ loss. 

I can’t listen to sports talk radio, I cannot read the Philadelphia Daily News or I cannot watch Sportscenter without being reminded of the stink bomb the Eagles laid on Sunday. 

My week after an Eagles loss is completely thrown out of whack.  I cannot enjoy my normal routine of reading on the John until my legs turn numb or listen to the radio on the way to and from work.  I have to listen to one of the two CD’s in my car and the selections are not good. 

I have ever word memorized on the ABBA’s greatest hits CD and I can only listen to the first two songs on the Public Enemy CD, the rest skip furiously.

Jimmy Johnson, the Eagles Defensive Coordinator and the backbone of the Eagles for the past decade has passed away. I was pretty sad when I heard that yesterday. I really liked him.

The most successful decade in Eagles football history can be attributed to the success of the stubborn ass defensive schemes that Jimmy Johnson drew up week in and week out.

Being an Eagles fan, with Jimmy roaming the sidelines, you knew as a fan that you didn’t have to worry about the defense. He was almost always able to shock the other team. He was almost always able to get into the opposing quarterback’s head.

I am a diehard Eagles fan. I have never liked another team in the NFL but the Eagles. I hate every team that has beaten the Eagles even once.

I hated the 49ers with Joe Montana, I really hate every team in the NFC East, I hate Pittsburgh, man I hate every team. The list goes on and on.

I did like Dan Marino and the Dolphins, but I never really rooted for them.

That is about to change all because of Rex Ryan. I am rooting for the Jets now as my second favorite team. If they are not playing the Eagles, I am rooting for them.
