Lakers' Lamar Odom Marries Khloe Kardashian

Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian have tied the knot.
The 29-year-old Los Angeles Lakers forward and the 25-year-old reality TV starlet were married Sunday at a private residence in Beverly Hills.
The bride was walked down the aisle by her stepfather, Bruce Jenner.
Odom's teammates Luke Walton and Sasha Vujacic attended the ceremony, along with Lakers coach Phil Jackson.
Kardashian appears with her family on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. She and her sister Kourtney co-star in the E! spinoff show, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami.
Odom agreed to a four-year contract to stay with the Lakers this summer after helping the team win the franchise's 15th NBA championship in June.

Seriously, what is Khloe Kardashian even famous for? Being Kim’s sister? So Khloe is famous for being the sister of someone who is famous for no reason at all.
It makes perfect sense. It acutally makes me mad. Kim Kardashian is famous for hanging with famous people, she has no real talent at all, other than being hot and showing up in porn.
Then there is Khloe, who is even less talented than her sister Kim but winds up with her own television show. What is this world coming too!
I really hate reality television. It is prancing around people like Khloe and I have no idea why.
Just ignore them and they will go away!

Another note on this – I actually found this news on cbs.sportline.com. How the freak is this sports related? Seriously, ESPN and CBS are now reporting tabloid news? I really wanted to start my Monday by reading the sports section to see what Khloe Kardashian was wearing at her wedding. Awesome. Oh, wait Luke Walton was in attendance that makes my Monday!
Lamar obviously did not receive the best business advice. I am not sure what his first or second contract brought him, but he is definitely a multi-multi millionaire from the Lakers. This past summer he signed his third contract which was worth about $40 million.
I am going to be conservative and estimate his net worth at approximately $60 million.
So what does this jackass do? After dating Khloe for a month, he marries her gold digging ass without presenting her with a prenuptial agreement.
Is he stupid? Is she that good in bed? I would love to know what he was thinking with this. This marriage is not going to last more than 3 years (and that is being generous) and she will take more than half of his net worth away.
Lamar better not go crazy and spend the rest of his loot, or we will be reading about him pan handling on the streets of Los Angeles a few years after he retires.
I did hear that he was considering a post nuptial agreement? How do those work and why the hell would she agree to one then? That would be ground rules for a divorce and it will only speed up her taking half of his assets. He obviously was thinking with his pecker on this one.
But a post nuptial agreement? This dude is nuts.
I also think it is funny that people get offended by the concept of the pre nuptial agreement. So a man/woman has accumulated some wealth, and in this case a ton of wealth, and he/she wants to protect it. Where is that offensive?
People do realize that over 50% of marriage end in divorce. That is astronomical! The odds are against even a normal marriage working.
Signing a prenuptial agreement should keep the woman/man vested in the relationship, if he/she wants to share in the other person’s wealth he/she should have to stick through the good and the bad. This is how you earn your keep for trying to take a short cut to wealth.
I know the argument will be that this gives the rich party the opportunity to cheat around on their spouse, scotch free, and if he/she leaves the rich party, the poor party will get nothing in return (from prior to the marriage anyway).
So what is the problem here?
You didn’t do anything to earn the money prior to the wedding and you are concerned that you end up with the short end of the stick after the marriage ends – you obviously were not in this arrangement for the right reason’s anyway. Money should not be the deciding factor here.
Here is a novel idea, instead of taking a short cut and marrying a rich guy/girl, how about working like everyone else and earning your income! Oh, I am so old fashioned.

Well, Lamar Odom never did particularly strike me as a candidate for Mensa. And he's probably the smart one in the relationship.

Yeah, the word is that she is really hot in bed, and a lot of fun and very nice besides that. The girl is not a pauper. Her family and she herself have accumulated a lot of money, and more of late. You seem to be really out of touch.
I hate prenups and postnups and all that. I'm just old fashioned enough to believe that assets are to be shared, no matter what, and that women, especially once they bear and raise children, have to be protected and looked after. That is the man's role in life. You have a few babies and see if you are then able to go out and have a great career and earn lots of money for yourself. Men are completely stupid. No wonder women are beginning to look on them with disdain.
They signed a postnup, and she seems happy with it. She isn't broke now and won't be broke in the future.

I am not out of touch, I realize that she has accumulated some wealth and I am happy for her. Lamar has accumulated a TON of money to date and she shouldn't be able to touch one red cent of that, hence the prenup.
I would love to ask you one simple questions. How long do you see this marriage lasting? I would be SHOCKED if it lasted more than 3 years, so a pre or post nup should be a necessity.
My wife and I do have kids and we are both pretty successful. My wife more so than me. So that comment is complete nonsense.
